Introducing Your Hunting Guide Barry Hogg

trout-fishing-taupo-new-zealandMy passions are my family, hunting , fishing and dirt bikes.

As a child growing up my father was a hunting fanatic, my parents were outfitters and the family home was the guest house for international visitors. Hunting was done on the family property and I grew up listening to the hunters talking about their exciting adventures around the dinner table. Naturally I developed a love for hunting myself and by 15 years of age I was guiding hunters myself. I still get a buzz out of meeting people, being able to help create great experiences for them and share all their fun and excitement.

Guiding has led to so many opportunities both in New Zealand and around the world, from hunting Black Bear in Idaho to recently going along on an Elk hunt in Utah. I enjoy taking my rifle and camera for a walk regularly.

Being a Kiwi (New Zealander) we naturally are very proud of our beautiful country. I am personally motivated to take care of the land, so that we can share it with you long into the future

I look forward to hear your story.
